I went up to the Kawarthas this weekend to get away from the city at a friend’s cottage. The first night was amazingly clear and I gave long exposures a shot. In hind sight I should of brought my battery charger because the cool night didn’t play nice with my not-as-fully-charged-as-I-thought-it-was battery, I went through one charge on the first night. Luckily I had a spare but it had to last the next three days.

If I had planned this out properly then I would brought my charger and tried for super long exposures on a lower ISO, the noise in this image bothers me, it would of also made for some longer light trails. Overall, an ok first effort, I’ll know better for next time.
