I’m in Kelowna for a little bit right now. I haven’t had much of a chance to explore much yet, mainly because I’m waiting for Nat to join me tomorrow. I went up Knox Mountain to get a view of the city as the sun sets.
I also went for a small hike today and managed to see a couple bear cubs about 90m away, but I didn’t get a good photo of them for few reasons; (1) it was raining and I wanted to get back to the car, (2) they were too far away for the lens I had on my camera and (3) I didn’t know where mama bear was and the last thing I want to do is get near cubs and spook mama. You don’t mess with a protective mama bear.
This is a stitch of eight photos.

Great view, lovely colour. Looks like the kind of place where you would set one of those Hollywood films about nice people in nice places. Of course, the bears in those films would just give you a nice hug.
can we go back now please.
