Tai O is a neat little fishing town. A lot of the houses along the water are on stilts for some reason. It’s not like the houses couldn’t be built on land. Anyways, they know that they get a few tourists, so when you arrive there’s a greeter there making sure you know that they do boat tours. While it would have been cool to check out the town from boat level, it looked a little sketchy for my tastes. And I’ve done a fair bit of budget travelling.
