This was taken on my recent trip to the Niagara region. We walked into the gorge to got for a quick hike and on the way up the stairs to the top I looked back and saw this. One of the cool things is that I didn’t add a lot of saturation to this image, the majority of it is cause by the setting sun. The sun was casting a gorgeous reddish glow over the land.
Ok, so the real reason that it looks like this is because I processed the RAW image for the sky and combined that with a RAW image processed for the trees. The majority of the processing was done in Lightroom/Bridge with a couple curve layers to help make the image look more balanced.
