I went out to a watch my friend’s band play, Sea of Gold and Burgundy and stayed for a couple Acts. They were followed by Hot Panda (decent live but not enough to get me to buy a CD). The Matavaras closed the night and they put on a good show but didn’t compel me to pick up a disc. That’s being said, appreciate whoever was working the lights because I got a couple cool shots. This was a rarity as The Horseshoe Tavern’s lights don’t usually flicker much for most of the bands I see.
