A couple weekends ago was NXNE in Toronto and it’s such a great time for indie music. My friend wanted to check out Great Lake Swimmers, which was cool with me, especially since I found out that Justin Rutledge was on the same bill. I’ve been trying to see this guy live for a while and I wasn’t disappointed. Good singer/song writer around who kind has a Ryan Adams twang these days.

I think that I know enough people with similar interests that I shouldn’t have been surprised when i bumped into people I knew there, one of which was someone a couple years ahead fo me in high school. Apparently he is good mates with Justin Rutledge, small world.
