Wow… there’s been a few links in between posts… no worries. Well I have just over 24 hours until I’m done my degree, I know that you’re all as excited as I am! It’s weird to think that I came down here for a specific purpose (do get my masters) and now that mission is almost done. So what then? Well I’m not going to worry about that just yet, but I will in 24 hours. Yesterday I was hit with a mild reality shock when I realized that I’d be heading back to Canada in a few months. It’s not that I don’t want to go back, it’s just that it’s a weird thought that I’ll be leaving all my good mates behind. While I know that it’s the better move for me (b/c Canada is more me than Australia) it’s still a hard one. I’ve made a good life for myself down here, got a good group of friends. But that being said, I’m excited to go home and see old friends again. By the time I go home, it’ll be about 20 months since I last step foot on Canadian soil, now that’s a long time!
